Made from the highest quality organic honey. With a delicate flavor to intiate you into the world of mead. Light in residual sugar, its floral notes mix will with those of honey and dry white wine, freshened by natural bubbles.
A cuvée made from acacia honey harvested by a gentle beekeeper in Piedmont, Italy. On the nose, the aromas of acacia flowers blend well with a slight scent of dark honey, slightly vegetal. On the palate, the notes of white honey are supported by a wine-like aspect, free from floral bitterness, and a slightly nutty finish..
Batch 152-24 : 12% alc. - residual sugars at bottling: approx. 15g sucre/L
Mead categories differ from those of wine, usually containing slightly more sugar. At 25g/L and under, a mead is considered dry. The style allows for a better expression of the notes within a honey, showing off botanical notes of its surrounding flora, while retaining characteristics of the honey itself. Our dry meads are balanced with a natural acidity provided by bacteria indigenous to the beehive.
Perfect for an aperitif, or in a spritz (3 parts cuvée acacia, 1 part aperitivo rosso like Campari, served over ice and topped with sparkling water and an orange slice). Goes well with vegetable and earthy notes like carrots and humus, onion soup, or mushroom risotto. Milder cheeses like fresh chèvre or an unaged sheep cheese. Serve cold like white wine.More about our artisanal mead
